View of the top surface of the terrace at the confluence of the Rimsbach and Grebentobel, east of Bezau. The terrace was formed at the end of the last glaciation by the interaction of the two rivers, when ice of the Bregenzerache glacier occupied the valley of Bezau. The kettled surface results from the melting of ice buried under sediments of the Grebentobel. An exceptional, highly valuable, landscape!
